Brainspotting

What is Brainspotting?

Brainspotting is a therapy that aims to find, process and free emotional stress, and trauma by combining body-based and brain-based approaches.

Where you look is connected to how you feel. Brainspotting proposes that eye position and deep emotional experiences are linked. Therefore, this modality reaches parts of the brain that traditional talk therapy or other types of therapy cannot.

What mental health issues can Brainspotting help with?

Brainspotting is a very effective modality to treat stress, anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, anger and emotional regulation, history of emotional, physical, or sexual abuse, addictions, unhealthy habits, low-self-esteem and many other emotional and mental health issues.

How is this possible? Because Brainspotting activates our natural resources to liberate un-resolved sensorial experiences, allowing us to find new insights, regulation and equilibrium, thus improving our overall well-being and mental health.

Why is Brainspotting such a strong tool for healing Trauma and Emotional Stress?

Brainspotting works with the origin of the trauma, it gets you unstuck, helps to uncover and explore issues and deal with the symptoms without the need for talking about them.
